A goal of Agape Village is to help parents get involved in the educational development of their children in ways they never thought possible. This is accomplished through parenting workshops and literacy classes, which are held monthly. The literacy workshops teach parents how to be better parents, so they can help their children be better students. The classes teach parents how to read to their children, which is an important means of strengthening the bond between them. Many other resources and support services are available to parents through the Family Resource Center.
