Personal Development, Core-Subject Tutorial, Homework Assistance Program

Monday through Thursday 3:30 - 6 pm

If your children in grades K-8 are having problems in core subjects, or if they need help with homework or MEAP preparation, this program is for them! To maximize the learning experience, students are divided into three grade groups: K-2, 3 -5 and 6-8. They participate in a spiritual prayer circle before activittivities begin.

Personal Development - Training within each grade group includes time management, organization, personal hygiene, spirituality and conflict resolution.

Core-Subject Tutorial -Help with core subjects is provided according to the following schedule:

• Monday - All Core Subjects
• Tuesday - Mathematics
• Wednesday - English (reading, writing and spelling)
• Thursday - Social Studies / Science and Mathematics

Homework Assistance - By dividing students into grade groups of no more than five per aide, they are able to receive personalized assistance to complete their homework assignments. Help with MEAP preparatory exercises also is provided.
