What We Do
The essence of Agape lies in its commitment to impact not only the young women and girls within our program, but also individuals in broader need. Consequently, our program is structured around four pivotal areas:
Mentorship: Building Foundations for the Future
At Agape Women's Ministry, mentorship forms the very foundation of our work. We are committed to providing ongoing guidance and support to every young woman and girl in our program. Through a six-session curriculumspecifically created for their needs, we equip them with vital life lessons. A key benefit of successful completion is the opportunity to apply for the Agape Scholarship, further empowering their journey.
Empowering Futures: The "Love Inspiring Hope" Scholarship
The "Love Inspiring Hope" Scholarship Program is a cornerstone of Agape's commitment to the young women and girls in our mentorship program. Annually, we select a group of deserving participants for this scholarship, recognizing their academic records, successful completion of mentorship requirements, and strong character. Our ambitious long-term goal is to double the number of scholarship recipients each year, providing even more opportunities for growth. Your support can directly change a girl's life through education.
Welcoming New Life: The Agape Newborn Program
Through our Agape Newborn Program, we collaborate with a private clinic focused on women's health to offer crucial support to new mothers. Each year, we provide 100 comprehensive newborn kits containing vital supplies such as diapers, wipes, bottles, and pacifiers. Our heartfelt desire is for every mother receiving a kit to feel cherished and empowered as she embraces this new chapter of her life.
Nourishing Communities: Agape Feeding Program
Through the Agape Feeding Program, we are committed to alleviating hunger in Liberia. Our efforts include providing regular food supplies to the Christian Association of the Blind Orphanage in Paynesville, as well as delivering nourishing meals to communities during special events.
